From facebook: This involves some shit talking supposed academic, who is a "farm to table", "christian anarchist". Just that makes me shiver. My best friend who vented is one of the most solid people I know. Having made alot of poor choices in life before 30, he buckled down, got a decent job, got less angry at the injustices of the world, and finished his undergrad at 39. Now at 44 he got downsized at his job, moved to NM and is getting his masters in social work. He really is in the trenches, and for some uptight 25 year old hipster to tell him this is so fucked it is unreal. Read, enjoy. Fuck tha police and anyone who feels the need to judge anyone elses good deeds.

The idea of anyone in a graduate program calling somebody else in a graduate program an "ivory tower" is hilarious to me. Doubly so when the target is a student returning to school AFTER a career.

I always leave urban dictionary thinking I "learned my lesson", but next time I see it, and the half sentence google shares entices me back in.
